A Legacy Carved in Tobacco.
5 GENERATIONS OF TRADITION, SINCE 1881
THE CASA CUEVAS FAMILY STORY
A Cigar Legacy Built from Cuba to the Dominican Republic
Every Casa Cuevas cigar carries the weight of generations. A Spanish immigrant who planted tobacco in Cuba in 1881. A revolution that forced a family to flee but not to abandon their craft. A father who rebuilt everything in the Dominican Republic. A son who put the family name on the box. And a grandson blending cigars today. This is not just brand history. It is a human story forged in exile, resilience, and a century-long love for the leaf.

ON FOUNDING CASA CUEVAS CIGARS
“We didn’t launch Casa Cuevas to compete. We launched it to finally put our name on something we’d been building for over a century.”
LUIS CUEVAS JR. — PRESIDENT, 4TH GENERATION
For decades, Tabacalera Las Lavas crafted cigars under other brands names, carefully, expertly, without recognition. When Luis Jr. decided it was time to change that, he didn’t just launch a brand. He honored every person in his family who came before him.
